I am honoured to be one of the therapists offering reflexology through Therapy Aid. Therapy Aid's vision is to provide a network of therapists throughout Norfolk providing massage, reflexology and other beneficial therapies to unpaid carers free of charge. All the therapists working with Therapy Aid are fully trained, fully insured and DBS checked, we are also committed to ongoing development and show this with our membership of the appropriate professional body.
Unpaid carers do a remarkable job, they also save the NHS approximately £130 billion a year and Norfolk services £1.6 billion a year, and they do so without thought to their own well-being and mental and emotional health. Often their only complaints are a few aches and pains, but we know from experience that it goes much deeper than that.
Giving unpaid carers some dedicated time to de-stress and rebalance means that they will be in a better position to care for their loved ones, and are more likely to stay in better health themselves.
